Director of Development
Urban Bridge’s Director of Development will lead and champion the strategic development efforts at Urban Bridge, driving all fundraising, resource development, and donor engagement activities. This role demands a visionary leader who excels at strategy, relationship-building, and team leadership to propel Urban Bridge’s mission forward and ensure our programs’ growth and sustainability. Under the guidance of the CEO, the Director of Development will play a key role in advancing Urban Bridge’s mission by crafting and executing robust fundraising strategies and nurturing strong donor relationships. We seek a collaborative and driven individual with a deep understanding of nonprofit development. The Director of Development will provide leadership to our Development Team, oversee high-impact projects, and manage relationships with major donors and stakeholders. Their role will be pivotal in aligning our development efforts
Requirements
5+ years experience working in nonprofit role.
Specific experience with NPO Development & Communication
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nonprofit related filed or equivalent with specialized vocational-technical or nonprofit training preferred. Experience working with under-served communities with a good understanding of cultural diversity and relevance. Commitment to and alignment with the mission of Urban Bridge. Proficiency in the use of a computer, including Word and Excel is preferred. Experience with Google docs, databases, CRMs, and other digital platforms is preferred.
Compensation
Pay is commensurate with education and experience.

Development Coordinator
Urban Bridge’s Development Coordinator will provide coordination of, support for, and assistance with the implementation of all Development efforts for Urban Bridge. An ability to see the big picture while focusing on the minute details is a unique and necessary skill for this role. Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Development Coordinator will fulfill critical responsibilities to help carry out the mission of Urban Bridge and steward excellent relations with Resource Partners. He or she should be a team player, teachable and eager to learn - without ego. It’s necessary to understand the nonprofit industry and have past experience to bring to this role. The Development Coordinator will provide administration and coordination for the work of the Development Team & overall efforts. He or she will value relationships - internally and externally. The Development Coordinator will maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in internal and external interactions. He or she will provide high-level administrative support, lead out with thorough project management, and provide accurate data and record keeping. The Development Coordinator will have a high capacity to execute projects and initiatives that will be critical to securing the funding Urban Bridge needs. He or she should be willing to do “whatever it takes” to see the CEO and Development Team, as a whole, achieve success.
